# App plays in background

If this setting is activated the app will continue playing songs or scales when the app is minimized. In this way, you can use other apps while listening to Tonaly.

### ▶️ Enable- or disable background mode

To enable or disable this feature, navigate to [**App settings**](https://guide.tonaly.app/settings/app-settings/navigate-to-app-settings)**,** and tap on "App plays in background".
