# Lost saved songs after syncing with iCloud

If you work on more than one device, it may be possible that sync conflicts occur. Usually, iCloud sync is very stable, and you should not lose any data. Nevertheless, the app will create a backup of your songs before syncing with data from iCloud **if there are fewer songs present in your iCloud than on your device**.

You can restore them by accessing a hidden feature.

**Navigate to** "**General information**" in the sidebar menu. Scroll all the way down to the bottom, then **tap five times on the app version.**

If there is a backup present, in the following dialogue, there will be an entry looking like **"Restore 12 songs from 08/02/20"**

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note that this is **only available if a backup was created**!
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.tonaly.app/troubleshooting/lost-saved-songs-after-syncing-with-icloud.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
